Choose a complete leafy-greens product. Use its lettuce dose for the plant's stage. A universal hydroponic formula is an option when its label covers this crop. Check that calcium, magnesium and micronutrients are included, or follow the manufacturer's companion-part instructions.

How to use these numbers
Product labels govern beginner doses. Advanced examples are reference starting points, not verified recipes for your water or cultivar. An elemental ppm calculation cannot predict EC, pH, precipitation, or what the plant absorbs. We drew the leafy target from the modified Sonneveld program and tomato stages from Ohio State; strawberry EC guidance comes from Ohio State's berry program.
